3 Healthy Breakfast Options Other Than Oatmeal

If you are looking to add a new feel to your breakfast game, then you will want to pick up a combination of grains that can easily be made into a hot breakfast cereal. Variety and a wide range of plant foods from whole grains, oats, legumes, nuts, seeds, fruit and veg are incredibly important to feed and nourish our gut, immune system, and entire body. The first meal of the day provides a beautiful frame to really feed your body well.

If grocery shopping is part of your weekend plans (ha, I know, fun and rest are also part of this long weekend, but so is getting our homes kitchens and kids ready for routine). You will want to consider adding a few new delicious breakfast options that can be made ahead, in large batches, and that will fuel your day. Farro, bulgur and black rice are my top pics for new “grains”, and I’m going to share some recipe inspo on how to cook these healthy options.
