Grilled chicken is a summer staple in our home! It’s just one of those foods that tastes delicious, goes with everything, and most people love. In fact, its even great grilled in advance and served cold at a picnic. I actually love using boneless thighs on the grill as they are more tender, juicy and cook quickly. I’ve tried a few different marinades, but this one is a universal crowd pleaser (especially with kids) thanks to the maple syrup/tamari combination.

Give this one a try and I know it will become a family favourite!

Ingredients –

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 9 boneless chicken thighs

Directions –

  1. 01. Preheat the oven to 375F. In a small bowl, stir together the Dijon mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, and soy sauce. Stir in the garlic and rosemary.
  2. 02. Arrange the chicken thighs in a baking dish so that they are close, but not overlapping. Pour the marinade on top and then spread it around until the thighs are completely covered.
  3. 03. Let marinade for at least an hour (the longer the better) before grilling over medium/high heat.
