The kids have been taking @sea_licious omega 3 + vitamin D3 since they were 2 years old. All 3 were breast-fed for over a year, so that means vitamin D3 drops started right from birth. The kids now also take a chewable multivitamin, vitamin C, and probiotics.This is in addition to our food-first philosophy. I really do try my best each day to ensure they are active with lots of fresh air, eat a variety of foods, stay hydrated and get enough sleep (Luca wins in that department, lol).The point is, we are in the driver seat of our health (even when it steers us in the wrong direction it’s never too late to take control.) My friend @dr.michaelmurray appeared on The Dr. Oz show yesterday speaking about the importance of Vitamin D3 supplementation. The bottom line is we don’t get enough from our diet nor are we exposed to enough sunlight for our body to produce enough.Here are the takeaways from his episode ( I would highly recommend checking out the segment as there is so much info and a great offer to win a supply of vitamin D3):✨Everyone needs to be supplementing with vitamin D3 right now, there is just too much at stake not to.
✨Adults currently not taking vitamin D3 or those with blood levels of 25-OH-D3 less than 30 ng/ml, should take 10,000 IU (250mcg) daily for 2-3 weeks.
After this loading dosage, adults should supplement at a dosage of 4000 to 5,000 IU daily. This dosage is universally regarded as safe.

Sunday dinner!✨During the week we sit at our i Sunday dinner!✨During the week we sit at our island to eat, but on Sunday, I love to make dinner feel more special inclusive of candles, music (jazz) and a favorite meat dish (which for my kids is always lamb.) Sometimes I can’t believe how much I love all things home and kitchen, I honestly never would have thought. 🥰Sunday is also the day of the week where I do a little mental check to review what didn’t work from the previous week, acknowledge it and let it go in order to set a new vibe. And today is the last day of the month, so it serves as an extra opportunity to reflect.And tbh, these items on the table are used every day in our home.
