Hello October!🍂What’s on your bucket-list this month?We usually do a big trip in October to celebrate our anniversary- 14 years this year, but since that’s not possible, we are going to continue enjoying our “backyard” in particular wine country and the island. I have felt more grateful than ever to live in such a safe and special province. Here’s a few other small personal goals (business ones- well that’s a whole other post, lol):🍂 each day notice the changing leaves
☀️ sit outside for a few min in the warm afternoon sun (even if it’s just at the parking lot at pickup) or when it’s raining do the same.
🌻 enjoy fall flowers (oooh this has to be the best palette)
🍠 eat as much “fall” produce as possible
🧑‍🌾 go to the local farmers market each week (it’s Wed from 3-7 in Port Moody)
☕️ once a week meet a friend for coffee
🍷 have 2 date nights with hubby (I know crazy right, lol)
👩‍👦👩‍👦👩‍👧 and at least one special time alone with each of my kiddos.
👟 teach Capri to tie her shoes
🧘🏼 30 min of quiet time each day where I just sit (no screens, books etc)And continue on the self-improvement work I started this year. At 4+3= 7, (43 years old), it’s a big year of introspection, and all this time around home has really led me into a deep and sometimes uncomfortable, but important place. And I’m going to continue to get uncomfortable in order to grow. Because we only grow when it rains, right.?Wishing you all the best start to October!🤎

A variety of plants in your diet is incredibly important. My tastebuds and wardrobe say fall, my body temp says summer! 😂 In the morning I turn on the fireplace, and by 4 pm, the AC, lol.
