Eggnog Smoothie

Bring a little taste of the season into your morning pour, with this eggnog-less eggnog smoothie! That classic eggnog taste comes from the frozen bananas, creamy cashew milk, dates and a blend of the holiday spices. This smoothie tastes so delicious, its hard to believe it’s good for you. And I just have a feeling it may become a smoothie game-changer. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cashew milk – I used Silk brand 
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2 pitted Medjool dates
  • ¼ cup unsweetened coconut yogurt 
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon or holiday spice blend
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg plus additional for topping 
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract 
  • Optional – coconut whipped cream for topping 

Directions

  1. 01. Place the cashew milk, bananas, dates, coconut yogurt, cinnamon, nutmeg and almond extract in a blender. Puree until smooth.
  2. 02. Pour into your favorite serving glass and top with additional nutmeg and coconut whipped cream.
