Summer breakfast plans? I’ve got you covered in the most fresh, cool, fun and delicious way! Making homemade popsicles is a great way to sneak in extra nutrients in the most kid-friendly and fun way.

These berry and cream chia popsicles use 5 ingredients and come together in 10 minutes- you’re welcome! And I must say they are amazing as a snack or after dinner treat, but are most definitely breakfast approved during the hottest days of summer.

This recipe is also so simple the kids can easily put them together and I know they will have fun blending, swirling and layering in the popsicle molds!

Ingredients –

  • 3 cup fresh berries
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • splash of water
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 

Directions –

  1. 01. In a blender, puree berries until smooth. Add a touch of water or juice if needed to get things moving.
  2. 02. Stir together yogurt, honey and vanilla. Spoon berries and yogurt mix into molds in alternating layers.
  3. 03. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until hard for at least 6 hours.
  4. 04. Run the bottom of the mold under warm water for a few seconds to loosen then  remove pops from molds. Enjoy!
